WANT a DONATion?
Main Squeeze has a long history of supporting our community through many different philanthropies. Beginning in 1997 we happily supported pretty much everyone who asked because there are sooo many worthy causes. But our resources are limited and we felt we weren't making a real difference anywhere, much less in the areas that mattered to us most. So beginning in 2008 we began focusing our giving on groups that share the two most important parts of our mission.
First, Food Equity. We believe that everyone, regardless of their income, address or any other barriers, deserves access to healthy, fresh, local foods. Second, Animal Welfare. Main Squeeze was established as a vegetarian restaurant in 1998 guided by a
philosophy best said by the Buddha: "All beings tremble before violence. All fear death. All love life. See yourself in others. Then whom can you hurt? What harm can you do?"
If your fundraising request supports our mission of FOOD EQUITY or ANIMAL WELFARE we encourage you to submit the request form below. While we will consider all donation requests (we get hundreds each year), please understand that we give priority to groups that help promote our mission.
